About SIDI

The Sustainable International Development Initiative (SIDI) at the National University of Ireland Galway is a cross-cutting initiative of the university to promote sustainable international development with partners in developing countries. The Sustainable International Development Initiative (SIDI) fosters training and research activities across multiple disciplines in relation to sustainable international development partnerships with developing countries. Within NUI Galway, there are a wide range of research and training activities underway with partners in developing countries which SIDI will bring together to promote the development of a stronger community of practice in NUI Galway in the arena of sustainable international development.
